Obituary of Ernest Butler

Ernest "Ernie" "Mike" Butler, age 77, of Tioga, PA, passed away on Friday, May 20, 2022 at his home. He was born on December 15, 1944 in Elmira, NY, a son of Juney and Emma (Herrington) Butler. Ernie was married to Martha Butler, who passed away on August 2, 2020. Ernie enjoyed fishing, NASCAR, professional wrestling, country western music and shows, and really loved his dog Ginger. Ernie is survived by his sons, Ernest Leon Butler, Jr. of Williamsport, PA, and Danny (Heidi) Butler of Tioga, PA; a daughter, Carol Wilcox of Lawrenceville, PA; two granddaughters, Nicole (Ryan Cuneo) Butler, and Rachel (Jeff) Savino; two great grandchildren, Aubrianna Miller, and Jordan Miller; and a sister, Joyce Borden of Cheyenne, WY; and a very special niece Carmen McCombs. He was preceded in death by his wife; and two brothers, Paul and David Butler. Friends and family are invited to call on Monday, May 23, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 S. Main St. Mansfield, PA.
