Obituary of Tammy S. Parthemer

Tammy S. Parthemer, age 55, of Covington, PA, passed away on Thursday, June 2, 2022 at her home. She was born on October 4, 1966 in Blossburg, PA, a daughter of Theodore and Rea (Wyscoff) Tripp. Tammy was married to Kenneth "Kenny" Parthemer. She was a social worker for Sam Inc. Tammy enjoyed kayaking, fishing, traveling, reading, books, planting flowers, going out to dinner with friends, horseback riding, and four wheeling. Tammy is survived by her husband; five children, Kenny Parthemer, Jr. of Morris Run, PA, James Robert Parthemer of Morris Run, PA, Meghan Harer of Covington, PA, Jonathan (Madeline Witucki) Parthemer of Blossburg, PA, Rachel Parthemer of Brooklyn, NY; ten grandchildren; two brothers, Daniel (Susan) Tripp of Elmira, NY, Scott (Cindy Smith) Tripp of NY; and four sisters, Rita Chambers of Campbell, NY, Sandra Leonard of Blossburg, PA, Kathy (Ronald) Leonard of Horseheads, NY, and Teddie Tripp of Covington, PA. She was preceded in death by her parents. Friends and family are invited to call on Sunday, June 5, 2022 from 4-6pm and again on Monday, June 6, 2022 from 1-2pm at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 S. Main St. Mansfield, PA. A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 6, 2022 at 2pm with Pastor Delbert Howard officiating. Burial will take place in Gray Cemetery in Covington, PA. Memorial contributions can be made to the funeral home to assist with expenses.
