Obituary of Antoinette Toomey

Antoinette Toomey, age 87 of Sullivan Township, PA passed away at home on June 3, 2022. She was born on February 3, 1935, in Long Island, NY the daughter of Mickey Garris. Antoinette was the wife of James C. Toomey. She was a Union County Data Entry Supervisor in Elizabeth, New Jersey. Antoinette enjoyed crocheting quilting, playing piano, organ, and accordion, and raising kids. She also made her own clothes and won prizes for her afghan blankets. Antoinette is survived by her husband; four sons, James Patrick of Tom's River, NJ, Brian Henry of Columbia Crossroads, Sean William of Columbia Crossroads, and Collin James of Columbia Crossroads; a daughter, Sharon Ann (Joseph) Anderson of Rahway, NJ; eight grandchildren, Sarah Ann, Ryan Aaron, Samantha Joy, Emily, Travis, Kaitlyn, Christopher, and Colleen; six great grandchildren, Braydon, Mark, Grayson, Jaxson, Jett, and Jameson. Antoinette was preceded in death by her father. A private family service will be held in Antoinette's honor. Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory Inc. 637 S.
