Obituary of Kyle Keith Getsay

Kyle Keith Getsay, age 50, of Mansfield, PA, passed away on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at his home. He was born on August 11, 1971 in Wellsboro, PA, the son of Keith Getsay and Nancy (Merrick) Anderson. At a very young age, Kyle had a passion for the trucking industry. He began his career as a truck mechanic eventually driving over the road, coast to coast, for many years. Most recently, he was employed locally hauling U.S. mail for a private company. Kyle is survived by his sister, Jodi (Michael) Johnson of York, PA; his stepfather, Robert Anderson of Wellsboro, PA; his stepmother, Mary Ellen Getsay of Dallas, GA; and two nephews, Garrett Johnson of York, PA, and Gavin (Bailey) Johnson of York, PA. He was preceded in death by his parents. A celebration of life will be announced for friends and family at a later date. Burial will take place in Wellsboro Cemetery in Wellsboro, PA.
