Obituary of Ronald Luther Giles

Ronald L. Giles, age 71, of Mansfield, PA, passed away on Saturday, September 3, 2022, at UPMC Williamsport Hospital. He was born on May 15, 1951, in Wellsboro, PA, a son of Luther and Josephine (Whitney) Giles. Ronald was the husband of Marcille (Bower) Giles with whom he would have celebrated 47 years of matrimony on September 5. He was a homemaker and enjoyed music, singing and stock car races at Woodhull Raceway. Ronald is survived by his wife; a brother, David (Joanie) Giles of Mansfield, PA; sister Mary L. Pino of Wellsboro, PA; brothers-in-law, Richard (Ethel) Bower of Chagrin Falls, OH, John (June) Bower of Troy, PA, Robert (Marilyn) Bower of Covington, PA, and Dale (Kathy) Bower of Auburn, NY; sisters-in-law, Eloise Hilfiger of Wellsboro, PA, Jean (Richard) Ogden of Blossburg, PA, and Jeanette (Gary) Belz of Tioga, PA, along with numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Linda Roupp, and brothers-in-law David and William Bower. In honoring Ronald's wishes, there will be no services.
