Obituary of Thomas C Ridge

Thomas C. Ridge, age 95 of Covington, PA, passed away on October 7, 2022 at the Green Home in Wellsboro. Thomas was born April 1, 1927 in Covington, PA, a son of William and Hazel (Johnson) Ridge. He worked for Putnam Oil, and was a member of the F&AM Friendship Lodge number 247. Thomas was a proud veteran and served in the Navy during Word War II. He enjoyed collecting knives, gardening, mowing lawn, playing BINGO, hunting, fishing, garage sales, and watching the Little League World Series. Thomas is survived by his son, William (Phyllis) Ridge of Covington, PA; daughter Sharon Hodgson of Covington, PA, granddaughter Jennifer (Bobby) Rishel, grandson Jeffrey Ridge, and great-grandchildren Connor and Madison Rishel. Thomas was predeceased by his wife, Frances (Lisowski) Ridge, to whom he was married for 68 years. Thomas was also predeceased by his sisters Pauline Husted and Eleanor Jones.
