Obituary of William Wood

William M. Wood, age 66, of Williamsport, PA, passed away at his home on Thursday, January 5, 2023. He was born on July 15, 1954 in Philadelphia, PA, a son of William and Virginia (Hoffman) Wood. William was an auto mechanic and a veteran of the US Marines. William is survived by his sons, Jason Wood of Philadelphia, PA, and William Wood of Williamsport, PA; daughters, Jamie, Melissa, Erin and Brittany Wood, all of Philadelphia, PA; grandchildren, Raymond, Caitlin, Bailey, Harry, Kayle, Ashley, Joey, Kayden, Summer, John, McKenna, and Kemper; brothers, Joseph (Jacqueline) Wood, Michael (Lisa) Wood, and John (Jacqueline) Wood, all of Philadelphia, PA; sisters, Barbara (Lawrence) Valecce, Virginia (Jim) Komar, and Patricia Wood, all of Philadelphia, PA, along with several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Margaret Wood Arena, and a brother, Patrick Wood. A private memorial service will be held in Philadelphia, PA at a later date.
