Obituary of Roger David Hurd

Roger David Hurd, age 26, of Tioga, PA, passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2023. He was born on September 25, 1996 in Elmira, NY, a son of Roger Gerald Hurd, Sr. and Lynn (Thall) Hurd. Roger was a mechanic and enjoyed building hotrods and shooting firearms. Roger is survived by parents; five siblings, Matthew (Bobbi Irons) Buck of Knoxville, PA, Shawn Hurd of Tioga, PA, and Zachary (Tara Shockency) Hurd of Tioga, PA, Roger (Tiffany) Gerald Hurd, Jr. of NC, Katie (Anthony) Freeman of NC; maternal grandparents, James and Nancy Thall of Tioga, PA; three nephews; two nieces; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Friends and family are invited to call on Sunday, January 15, 2023 from 2-4pm at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 S. Main St. Mansfield, PA. A funeral service will follow at 4pm. Memorial contributions can be made to the funeral home to assist with expenses.
