Obituary of Phyllis Seelye
Phyllis Seelye, age 78, of Blossburg, PA, passed away on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at her home. She was born on August 4, 1944 in Binghamton, NY, a daughter of Earl and Frances J. (Gregory) Smith. Phyllis was married to the late James Seelye who passed away in 2005.
Phyllis is survived by her children, Phyllis (Lee) Parker of Galeton, PA, Kathleen McLaughlin of Blossburg, PA, Melanie Smith of NY, Brian (Lori Confer) Seelye of Blossburg, PA, and Earl (Louise Keller) Seelye of Troy, PA; fourteen grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sister, Patricia Grantier, and Priscilla Hemingway.
In honoring Phyllis' wishes, there will be no services. Burial will take place in Gillett Baptist Cemetery in Gillett, PA. Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 S. Main St. Mansfield, PA.
