Obituary of Kevin Hungerford

Kevin "Red" Hungerford, age 68, of Covington, PA, passed away on May 22, 2023, at his home. He was born on April 12, 1955, in Wellsboro, a son of Vernon Hungerford and Colleen (Locey) Emes. Kevin was the husband of Ruth (Smyth) Hungerford. He was employed by Andrew's Well Drilling as a water well driller for over 38 years. Kevin enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Ruth; 3 sons, Terry (Jen) Hungerford of Ephrata, PA, Jason (Erin) Hungerford of Tioga, PA, and Joshua (Whitney) Hungerford of Horseheads, NY; 5 grandchildren, Brendan (Shawray) Hungerford, Chelsea Hungerford, Ethan Hungerford, Wyatt Hungerford, and Ava Mae Hungerford; a brother, Kirby Hungerford; a half-brother, Jamie Emes; a sister-in-law, Louann (Joe) Woodruff; 4 Nieces, Carly Hungerford, Haley Hungerford, Alana Emes, and Stacey Champaign; 3 nephews, Christopher (Mary Ellen) Champaign, and Steven Champaign; a great-niece, Allie Champaign, a great-nephew, Mason Champaign and his very best friend, Roger "Kiz" Kizer. Kevin was preceded in death by his father. At the request of Kevin, a celebration of life will take place at a later date.
