Obituary of John Fekety
John T. Fekety, age 74, of Mainesburg, PA, passed away on May 22, 2023, at his home. He was born on April 8, 1949, in Blossburg, the son of George and Helen (Lisowski) Fekety. He owned and operated Fekety Autobody. John was an avid golfer and a lifelong fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers.
He is survived his significant other, Teri Artibee; 2 sons, Curtis (Jill) Fekety of Corning, NY and Jeffrey (Celia) Fekety of CA; 2 daughters, Jennifer (Mike) Newell of Troy, PA and Kimberly (Robert) Kshir of AZ; 17 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; his caregivers and special angels, Karen and Dawn; service dog, Noodles; and his lifelong friends, Walt Dewey and Bob Boll. John was preceded in death by his mother and father; and a brother, Jim.
A private burial will take place at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Blossburg, Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA has been entrusted with the arrangements.
