Obituary of Stanley Mahosky, Jr.

Stanley Mahosky Jr., age 91, of Sun City, AZ, formerly of Arnot, PA, passed away on Thursday, June 8, 2023, in Morris, PA. He was born on November 4, 1931, in Blossburg, PA, a son of the late Stanley and Sarah (Novitski) Mahosky. Stanley proudly served his country in the Army during the Korean War, receiving several awards such as good conduct, national defense before working as a crane operator for Kennedy Valve, where he retired. He enjoyed traveling, Juicy Fruit gum and most importantly, spending time with his family and friends. Stanley is survived by his sons, Kurt (Kathy) Mahosky of Salem, OR, Keith Mahosky, and Rex (Peggy) Mahosky of Sun City, AZ; his daughters, Rebecca (Ernie) Gibson of Lodi, CA, Beth (Eddie) Rhodes of Lowman, NY, and Darcy Mahosky of Elmira, NY; 13 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary (Reynolds) Mahosky and 9 brothers and sisters, Frank, Walt, John, Rose, Josephine, Anna, Martha, Theresa, and Mary. Following Stanley's wishes there will be no services. Burial will take place at Ashland Cemetery, in Wellsburg, NY. Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc.637 S.
