Obituary of Harlan Eugene Davis Sr.

Harlan E. Davis, Sr., age 78, of Lawrenceville, PA, passed away on Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at the VA Hospital in Bath, NY. Harlan was born October 17, 1944, in Niagara Falls, NY, a son of William and Evelyn Davis. He did foundry work throughout his career, and enjoyed old cars, wrestling, storytelling, and most of all, spending time with family. Harlan is survived by his daughter Tessa (Matthias) Golliver of Lawrenceville, PA; his sons, Harlan (Christina) Davis Jr. of Spring Lake, NC, and Christopher Davis of Spring Lake, NC; sisters Muriel Davis of Painted Post, NY, Lorraine (Paul) Dutton of FL, and Billie Moore of Painted Post, NY; 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Joan Tubbs. Family and friends are invited to call on Monday, June 26, 2023, from 1 pm to 3 pm at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 South Main Street, Mansfield, PA. A funeral service will immediately follow at 3 pm, with Rev. Harry J. Colegrove officiating.
