Obituary of David Pease Milligan

David Pease Milligan, Age 75 of Covington, PA, passed away on Monday, September 4, 2023, at UPMC Wellsboro. David was born November 23, 1947, in Anchorage, Alaska Territory USA, a son of Thomas and Mary "Ginny" (Pease) Milligan. He worked for 30 years at Kimberly Clark and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Mansfield, PA. David was an Army Vietnam war veteran and enjoyed participating in Revolutionary War reenactments. David was a licensed Technician Class Amatuer 'Ham' Radio Operator. He volunteered for several years with the Boy Scouts of America. David is survived by his wife, Elaine (Bailey) Milligan; a son Thomas Wayne (Amy) Milligan of Edmond, OK (grandchildren are David, Alexandra, Megan, and Nathaniel); a daughter Mary Luella (Steven) Walton of Lockridge, IA (grandchildren are Stephanie and Daniel, step-grandchildren are Levi and Michaela); children of son Jonathan with Adrienne (Hoffman Milligan) Bean of Wapello, IA, (grandchildren are Kelly, Ozias, Ivory, Anton); a brother John (Suzie) Milligan of Owego, NY; and sisters Rebecca (Stephen) Hager of Ballwin, MO, and Debra Milligan of NC. He was preceded in death by his son, Jonathan Bailey Milligan, in 2021. Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, September 15 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 100 Brooklyn Street, Mansfield, PA. A funeral service will immediately follow at 10:30 AM.
