Obituary of Charles Young Jr.

Charles Samuel Young, Jr., age 86 of Wellsboro, PA passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at home. He was born March 10th, 1937 in Philadelphia, PA, a son of Charles and Sarah (Wallace) Young. He proudly served his country as a Marine, following his honorable discharge he worked as a line worker for Tasty Cake. He loved hunting and spending time outdoors. Charles is survived by brother, James (Barb) Young of Fort Myers, FL; 3 sisters, Jean Kozak of New Jersey, Patricia (Bill) Hale of Philadelphia, PA, and Dorothy Crouse of New Jersey; a nephew, Jay (Carrie) Young and his beloved great nieces, Charlottle and Isabelle Young; and a niece, Sarah Marie Young. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Robert Young and a sister, Lilliam Young Ball. In keeping with Charles' wishes there will be no services.
