Obituary of Donald Lyman

Donald Andrew Lyman, age 79 of Mansfield, PA passed away on Monday, October 9, 2023, with his wife by his side at home. He was born October 21, 1944, in Flint, MI, a son of Donald M. and Freda (Pate) Lyman. He proudly served his country in the Marines during the Vietnam War, after his service he was an electrical lineman. Donald was a member of the Mansfield VFW and enjoyed spending time with his family and golfing. Donald is survived by wife, Kay (Canfield) Lyman; 4 grandchildren, Nicole (Josh) Johnson, Cheryl (Marty) Lyman-Main, Kathleen Kent and Amber (Zach) Rohrberg; 5 greatgrandchildren, Michael, Sophia, Wyatt, Seanna and Meadow; 2 brothers, Timothy (Judy) Lyman of Gastonia, NC and Bobby (Charlotte) Stevens also of Gastonia, NC. Donald is preceded in death by his 3 children; Todd Lyman in 1993, Stacy Kent in 2002, , and Jeffery Lyman in 2010. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 27, 2023 at the Mansfield VFW, 1208 South Main Street, Mansfield, PA, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
