Obituary of Donald Andrew Colby

Donald Andrew Colby, age 48, of Wellsboro, PA, passed away on Thursday, November 2, 2023, at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA. He was born on January 16, 1975, in Wellsboro, PA, a son of Robert Colby and Deanna (Brott) Bowen. Donald was a Marine Corps and National Guard veteran. He worked as a cook at McDonald's Restaurant and enjoyed gaming, drinking coffee, and rooting for the Dallas Cowboys. Donald is survived by his parents, Deanna and Douglas Bowen of Wellsboro, PA; sisters, Kim (Fred) Bolt of Mansfield, PA, Joann (Rob) Bradley of Middlebury, PA, Connie (Christopher Krug) Weeks of Port St. Lucie, FL, Teresa (Eric) Cowan of Covington, PA, Michell (Will) Catron of Salisbury, MD, and Faith (Seth) Donald of Mansfield, PA, along with numerous nieces and nephews, Nikki Hemenway, Dan Wilson, Lee Wilson, Robbie Wilson, and Cole Wilson, all of Mansfield, PA, Andrew Bradley, Stephanie Bradley, Benton Bradley, and Kya Bradley, all of Middlebury Center, PA, Samantha Rynearson, Tom Rynearson and Judith Rynearson, all of Selinsgrove, PA, Cassandra Krug of Port St. Lucie, FL, Brittany Weeks, Lilly Griffin and Audrey Griffin, Veronica Hoy, and Brent Hoy, all of Delmar, MD, Richelle Cowan of Covington, PA, Megan Catron, Autumn Catron, Jessica Scotto, Chris Scotto, Kelson Scotto, Kyla Lovitt, Addison Scotto, and Bryndal Scotto, all of Salisbury, MD, Aaron Donald of Fayetteville, PA, Adam Donald and Ean Donald of Mansfield, PA. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Colby. Friends and family are invited to call from 5:00 to 6:00 P.M. on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. A funeral service will immediately follow at 6:00 P.M. with Rev. Harry Colegrove officiating.
