Obituary of Phyllis C. Dunbar

Phyllis C. Dunbar, age 83, of Mansfield, PA, passed away on Saturday, December 9, 2023 at her home after a long battle with cancer. She was born on June 10, 1940 in Elmira, NY, a daughter of Lewis and Kathleen (Ward) Canfield. Phyllis was married to the late Allan Dunbar. She worked as a Registered Nurse specializing in rehabilitation. Phyllis enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and crafting. Phyllis is survived by her children, Ronnie (Julie) Dunbar of Oak Island, NC, Alana Potter of Mansfield, PA and Douglas Dunbar of Minneapolis, MN; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; a brother, Danny Canfield of Westfield, PA; and two sisters, Kay Lyman of Mansfield, PA, and Cheryl (Mark) Smith of Loveland, OH. She was preceded in death by her husband, and a son, Barry Dunbar. In honoring Phyllis' wishes, there will be no services.
