Obituary of Dorotha Webster

Dorotha "Dot" Cleveland Webster, age 87 of Covington, PA, passed away peacefully surrounded by her children on Saturday, February 3, 2024. She was born on December 15, 1936 in Blossburg, PA. Dorotha loved her family unconditionally and was loved by so many. She was a Jack of All Trades and completed many projects. Dorotha was an avid history buff, and loved to share the history of Tioga County. She loved travelling to Colorado, and had an extensive collection of rocks and gems that she hand dug and loved to show off. She loved telling her rock collecting stories and painting and drawing with her grandchildren. Dorotha is survived by daughters and sons-in-law Shirley (Rich) Welch, Kathy Phillips, Sandy Pfeifer, Robin Tomlinson, Deanna (Donny) Weber, Shaun Johnson, Kris Johnson, son Ronald Tomlinson, seventeen grandchildren, thirty two great-grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, special nephews Burt Cleveland and Todd Cleveland, husband Kevin Webster, and special canine companion Chase, who was constantly at her side waiting to sneak a treat. Dorotha was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and spouses, one sister, three sons-in-law, one grandson, and one great-grandson. Dorotha was a beautician for many years and owned a salon in Wellsboro. She also owned and operated the Towne Tavern in Morris Run, PA, and was a member of the Blossburg Ambulance. She also worked for several years at Ballards in Covington, was a caretaker to many, and would leave at any time to care for someone if they called. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Blossburg Fire Department.
