Obituary of Denise Kay Smith

Denise Kay Smith, age 73, of Wellsboro, PA, passed away on Monday, February 5, 2024, at Broad Acres Nursing Home in Wellsboro, PA. She was born on October 12, 1950, in Wellsboro, PA, a daughter of William Isaac and Ruth Louise (Minier) Sims. Denise worked for Wundies and Felchers Vacuum, and loved to play cards, do puzzles, crochet, garden, do craft work, and spend time with friends and family. Denise is survived by her daughter, Hellen (Bradford, Jr.) Brinker of Sabinsville, PA; grandchildren, Alexander James Pentecost, Benjamin Thomas Pentecost, and Colby Alan Pentecost; brother, Timothy Sims of Schuyler, NY; sister, Eldeen (Carl) Smith of Tinton Falls, NJ; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, William Sims, and sister, Anita Sims. Friends and family are invited to call from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, February 11, 2024, at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA.
