Obituary of Maida A. Foshey

Maida A. Foshey, age 87, of Troy, PA, died on Sunday, August 10, 2008 in Troy Community Hospital, Troy, PA. Born on April 12, 1921 in Mountain Park, OK, Maida was the daughter of Jesse G. and Minnie E. (Brown) Gross. She was predeceased by her husband, George W. Foshey, Jr. on March 10, 2002. She was a homemaker who enjoyed crocheting and making things for other people. Maida is survived by a son, Ronald F. Weldon of Biggs, CA; predeceased by a daughter, Cathleen M. Lemley; survived by; a son and daughter-in-law, Billy J. and Becky Welden of Byron, WY, a daughter and son-in-law, Sylvia and Bill Hoffmeier of San Antonio, TX, a son, George W. and Karen Foshey, III of San Diego, CA; a daughter and a son-in-law, Karen D. and Lloyd Worford of Troy, PA, a daughter, Diana L. Foshey of San Diego, CA; 24 grandchildren: Cary, Frank, Peggy, Mike, Cristy, Ronnie, David, Tammy, Sandy, Bill, Danna, Tommy, Cristy, Michelle, Michelle, Brett, George IV, Geoffrey, Jenny, Angie, Mandy, Jason, Ben, Kari, many great and several great great grandchildren, and a sister-in-law, Arlene Gross of San Diego, CA. In keeping with Maidas wishes, services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Point Loma National Cemetery, San Diego, CA. The Jacquelyn A.
