Obituary of Thomas Scott Tice

Thomas Scott "Tom" Tice, age 59 of Millerton, PA, passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA. Tom was born December 5, 1964 in Blossburg, PA, a son of Harold and Shirley Ann (Willson) Tice. Tom was a member of the Mainesburg United Methodist Church, worked for Gary Butters at Butters Homes and Town and Country Estates, and was a former soccer coach for New Covenant Academy in Mansfield, PA. He enjoyed tinkering, farming, woodworking, and hunting. Tom loved his grandchildren and will always be remembered for his infectious smile. Tom is survived by his wife, Barbara Ann "Barb" Tice; children Clarice (Patrick) Albor of Covington, PA, Abigail "Abby" (Matthew) Harold of Mainesburg, PA, and Nathan (Brittany DeGeyter) Tice of Millerton, PA; grandchildren Lucas Tice, Juke Harold, and Amelia Tice; father Harold Tice of Mainesburg, PA; siblings Karen (Ian) Atherton of Amherst, NH, Jeffrey (Moira) Tice of Rochester, NY, and Stephen (Melinda) Tice of Mainesburg, PA; nieces and nephews Morgan, Victoria, Kristin, Jordan, Cody, Brandie, Kyle, Seth, and Richelle; mother-in-law and father-in-law Melanie and Richard Cowan of Covington, PA; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law Eric and Teresa Cowan, Covington, PA . He was preceded in death by his mother Shirley, and brother, Todd Tice. Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday, April 21, 2024, at the Mainesburg United Methodist Church, 100 Smith Park Road, Mainesburg, PA, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. A funeral service will follow with Mark Sakowski officiating. Burial will take place at Gray Valley Cemetery in Mainesburg, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Tom's name to CORE 204 Sigma Dr. Pittsburgh, PA 15238.
