Obituary of Robert G. Moyer

Robert G. Moyer, age 80, of Covington, PA, passed away on Monday, May 6, 2024 at UPMC Williamsport Hospital. He was born on April 2, 1944 in Sellersville, PA, a son of Henry and Elsie (Yothers) Moyer. Robert and his wife, Beverly A. (Hesse) Moyer, would have celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary on October 7, 2024. He owned and operated an autobody repair shop, towing business, and hardware store. Robert enjoyed hunting and trapping. He was a lifetime member and former assistant chief of the Towamencin Volunteer Fire Company. Robert is survived by his wife; a daughter, Sherry (Scott Leister) York of Harleysville, PA; a grandson, Gregory York; a brother, Henry L. Moyer of Boyertown, PA; and a sister, Nancy (Arlin) Freed of Pennsburg, PA. In honoring Robert's wishes, there will be no services. Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 S.
