Obituary of Sheila Kay Cuneo

Sheila Kay Cuneo, age 72, of Tioga, PA, passed away on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at Guthrie Corning Hospital in Corning, NY. She was born on June 9, 1951 in Corning, NY, the daughter of Donald and Ida (Farr) Burnside. Sheila and Tom would have celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary on June 6th. She was self-employed as a licensed family daycare provider. Sheila attended Parkhurst Presbyterian Church in Elkland, PA. She enjoyed spending time with her family, camping, traveling, and adult coloring books. Sheila is survived by her husband, Thomas; a son, Ryan Cuneo of Tioga, PA; a daughter, Holly (Dave) Irwin of Tioga, PA; three grandchildren, Taylor Cuneo, Jhanessa Strope, Jordyn Cuneo; one great grandchild, Evangeline Bradley Strope Maxwell; and a brother, Gary (Doreen) Burnside. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a son, Bradley Cuneo. Friends and family are invited to call on Saturday, May 11, 2024 from 1:30-3:00pm at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 S. Main St. Mansfield, PA. A funeral service will follow at 3pm with Pastor Michael Denelsbeck. Burial will take place in Evergreen Cemetery in Tioga, PA.
