Obituary of Franklin S. Bump

Franklin S. Bump, age 65, of Mansfield, PA, passed away on Friday, May 10, 2024 at Broad Acres Nursing Home in Wellsboro, PA. He was born on March 26, 1959 in Wellsboro, PA, a son of James C. and Charlotte (Hurlbert) Bump. Franklin worked in manufacturing. He enjoyed listening to music, collecting records, repairing clocks and watches, watching old movies and westerns with Bob, collecting coins, and going to yard sales and concerts. Franklin is survived by his son, Jason Bump of Knoxville, PA; a daughter, Roseann (Dan) Beach of Mansfield, PA; two brothers, Walter (Barbara) Bump of Mansfield, PA, and William Bump of Mainesburg, PA; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, James R. Bump. Friends and family are invited to call on Tuesday, May 14, 2024 from 5-6pm at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc, 637 S. Main St. Mansfield, PA. A funeral service will follow at 6pm with Pastor Tom Harmic officiating. Burial will take place in Lick Run Cemetery in Gaines, PA.
