Obituary of Douglas Brown

Douglas Fayette Brown, age 83, of Millerton, PA, passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at Arnot Ogden Medical Center in Elmira, NY. He was born on July 19, 1940 in Elmira, NY, a son of Thomas and Jeannette (Westlake) Brown. Douglas was married to Charlotte (Elks) Brown. He was a sheet metal worker for Toshiba in Horseheads, NY and was a veteran of the United States Army. Douglas enjoyed car racing and riding motorcycles and snowmobiles. Douglas is survived by his wife, Charlotte; three sons, Michael (Melissa) Brown of Millerton, PA, Jeffrey Brown of Elmira, NY, and Matthew (Catherine) Brown of Lock Haven, PA; seven grandchildren, Jessica Brown, Emily Brown, Zachary (Rachel) Brown, Andrew (Jessica) Bailey, Kaitlyn (Cody) Smith, Ashlin Morgan, and Machayla Morgan; two great grandchildren, Weston Smith and Maddison Morgan; two sisters, Barbara Brown-Fisher of Velva, ND and Joan Weir of Wellsboro, PA; two sisters-in-law, Bernadette Brown of Wellsboro, PA and Shirley Brown of Millerton, PA; and a special friend, Colleen Anderson of Millerton, PA. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Thomas and Russell Brown. In honoring Douglas' wishes, there will be no services. Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 S.
