Obituary of Max Laverne Bohart
Max Laverne Bohart, age 81 of Liberty, PA, passed away at his home on Monday, June 24, 2024. Max was born May 24, 1943, a son of Eugene and Mary (Brion) Bohart. He worked as a farm mechanic for many years and enjoyed tractors, children, helping others in need, and spending time with his family.
Max is survived by his wife, Connie (Wertz) Bohart; children Jossetta (David) Andrews of Mechanicsburg, PA, Susan Bohart of Liberty, PA, Amanda (Toby) Wetzel of Liberty, PA, Max (Marshia) Bohart, Jr. of Liberty, PA, and William Bohart of Blossburg, PA; sisters Joyce Black and Anna Pardoe; 14 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by sisters Louise Black and Alice Schmelze, and Brothers Bruce, Dale, and Howard Bohart.
