Obituary of Alois Gutekunst

Alois Gutekunst, age 89, of Millerton, PA, formerly of Breiningsville, PA, passed away on Friday, June 28, 2024, at Woodbrook Assisted Living Residence, in Elmira, NY. She was born on July 31, 1934, in Allentown, PA, a daughter of Earl Auman and Dorothy (Culver) Williams. She was a lovely woman who touched the hearts of all who knew her, and enjoyed knitting, having lunch with friends and spending time with her family. Alois worked as a retail cashier. Alois is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Shannon Gutekunst of Millerton, PA; grandchildren, Jason (Laura) Becker, Morgan (Steve) Becker, Courtney Becker, Lindsay (Cory Rightmire) Gutekunst, and Alexander (Amanda) Gutekunst; great grandchildren, Jayden, Avery, Allie and Julia; her partner Richard Eichelberger, of Breiningsville, PA, and a special friend, Jean Weaver. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Bonnie Becker, her son Clifford Gutekunst, Jr., and her best friend, Jean Kichline. A private graveside service will be held at Grandview Cemetery in Allentown, PA. Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S.
