Obituary of Robert Richard Pare

Robert Richard "Bob" Pare, age 84, of Covington, PA, passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2024, at Broad Acres Nursing Home in Wellsboro, PA. He was born on February 21, 1940, in Lowell, MA, a son of Robert and Jeannette (Reindeau) Pare. Bob was the husband of Nancy (Duffy) Pare. Bob and Nancy were married on July 20, 1979, and enjoyed 45 years of marriage. He was a member of the Holy Child Catholic Church in Mansfield, PA. Bob worked as a computer programmer for Tufts University in Somerville, MA, and enjoyed traveling, and golfing at Corey Creek Golf Club, where he served on the board. Bob loved the NY Yankees and "managed" them very well from his recliner. Bob is survived by his wife, Nancy; sons, Andrew (Kristie) Ritter of Penhook, VA, and Scott Ritter of Washington, DC; granddaughters, Natalie, Katie, and Samantha Ritter; sister, Susan Pare of Dracut, MA, along with several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Raymond Pare, and a sister, Lorraine Field. Friends and family are invited to call from 10:00 – 11:00 A.M. on Friday, August 2, 2024, at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. A celebration of life will immediately follow at 11:00 A.M.
