Obituary of Charles F. Flaherty

Charles F. Flaherty, age 60, of Mansfield, PA, passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at his home. He was born on May 4, 1964 in Quincy, MA, a son of David M. and Mary E. (Medico) Flaherty. Charles was married to Sabrina (Lyman) Flaherty. He worked for Corning, Inc. and was a police officer for Mansfield University for 23 years. Charles was a member of the Mansfield VFW and enjoyed the ocean, camping, the New England Patriots, hockey, and spending time with his grandchildren. Charles is survived by his wife, Sabrina; two daughters, Sahvana Weber of Mansfield, PA, Cheyanne Flaherty of Mansfield, PA; mother, Mary Ellen Zimmer of FL; three grandchildren, Emily Weber, Mason Weber, and Eleanor Rohde; two brothers, David Flaherty of FL, and Thomas Flaherty of Mansfield, MA; and two sisters, Keri Flaherty of Mansfield, MA, and Kelly Flaherty of State College, PA. He was preceded in death by his father, David; and a sister, Marie Burleson. Friends and family are invited to call on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 from 5-7pm at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 S. Main St. Mansfield, PA.
