Obituary of Stanley P. Bruce

Stanley P. Bruce, age 63, of Tioga, PA, died Saturday, February 21, 2009 at his home. He was born April 15, 1945 in Tioga, PA, a son of Wilbert and Carrie (Benson) Bruce. Stanley was the husband of Jewel (Young) Bruce with whom he celebrated a 37th anniversary on May 22, 2008. He was employed by the Hilliard Corp. Stanley was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Tioga and the Tioga Fire Department. Stanley is survived by his wife, Jewel; a son Philip Scott Bruce of Tioga, PA; a daughter, Heather Marie Bruce of Tioga, PA; a sister, Linda Cicero, South Ozone Park, NY; a sister-in-law, Marie Bruce of Tioga, PA; a cousin, Jean Ward, of Tioga, PA; a special friend and co-worker, Suzanne West, of SC. He was predeceased by his parents, and a brother, Thomas Bruce. A memorial service will be held at the First Baptist Church, Church St., Tioga, PA on Saturday, March 7, 2009 at 11:00 AM with the Rev.
