Obituary of Albert N. Quartucci

Albert Al Nicholas Quartucci (54) died suddenly at his home in Covington, PA on Friday, May 15, 2009. He was born on April 20, 1955 at Germantown Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. He grew up in Feasterville, PA but his heart belonged in the mountains of Tioga County. He was a graduate of Archbishop Wood High School in Warminster, PA, class of 1973. He was also a graduate of Bucks County Vocational and Technical College where he studied auto mechanics. His first job after college was as a Construction Worker and Truck Driver for Conshohocken Construction Company in Conshohocken, PA. He was also employed at King David Cemetery in Bensalem, PA. His entrepreneurial spirit prevailed throughout most of his adult life as a self employed Auto Mechanic for Alko (Levittown, PA) and Alberts Automotive (Croydon, PA). Since relocating to Tioga County, he has been employed as a Service Technician for Knowles LP Gas in Mansfield, PA. His two greatest loves were his family and cars. As a child, he loved building model airplanes and playing with American Flyer and Lionel trains. He also played the Accordion. In his twenties and thirties, he was an avid drag racer and car show enthusiast. His love of Chevys and Dale Earnhardt never wavered. His latest hobby was buying and selling collectable Hess trucks on eBay. He was a born again Christian and a member of Calvary Chapel in Philadelphia, PA. He was preceded in death by his beloved father and best friend, Albert Joseph Quartucci (Feasterville, PA). He is survived by his loving mother and step father, Rose Marie Quartucci-Reid and Bill Reid , sister and brother-in-law, Margi and Harold Becker (all of Clearwater, FL), daughters, Heather Quartucci (David Valencia) (Queens, NY) and Colette Yushko (Burlington, NJ), son and daughter-in-law, John and Linda Quartucci (Bristol, PA) and two grandchildren, Jeffrey Yushko (Burlington, NJ) and Maja Quartucci (Bristol, PA). He is also survived by his soul mate, Gay Wills (Covington, PA), Gays children, Jamie Bolt and Kim Bolt (both of Mansfield, PA) and Gays 4 grandchildren. Als charismatic personality and sense of humor will be sorely missed by countless friends and family. Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, May 21, 2009 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. for a viewing at the Jacquelyn A. Buckheit Funeral Chapel, Crematory & Monuments, PC, 637 South Main Street, Mansfield, PA. A funeral service will immediately follow the viewing at 8 p.m. Internment will be on Saturday, May 23, 2009 at Our Lady of Grace Cemetery.
