Obituary of Sherry J. Adams

Sherry J. Adams, age 58, of Wellsboro, PA, died Wednesday, May 27, 2009 at Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, PA. Sherry was the wife of David Adams and would have celebrated their 40th anniversary on November 15th, 2009. She was born November 30, 1950 in Wellsboro, PA, a daughter of Lawrence G. and Pauline M. (Hegele) DeWitt. Sherry was a 1969 graduate of Wellsboro High School; a member of the Women of the Moose in Wellsboro. Sherry is survived by her husband, David; three sons and a daughter-in-law, Timothy and Angela Adams, Todd Adams, and Trevor Adams, all of Wellsboro; two daughters and sons-in-law, Lacey and Richard Scholtz of Wellsboro, Amy and Ed Woodard of Elmira, NY; five grandchildren; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Paul and Clara DeWitt of GA, David DeWitt of GA; a sister, Bonnie DeWitt of Wellsboro; a sister-in-law, Kathryn DeWitt of Covington, PA. She was predeceased by two brothers, George Daryl DeWitt and Dale DeWitt. Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, May 30, 2009 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the Jacquelyn A. Buckheit Funeral Chapel, Crematory & Monuments, PC, 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. Funeral services will be held immediately following the viewing at 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home with the Rev.
