Obituary of Glen W. Thomas

Glen W. Thomas, 66, of Arnot, died Sunday, January 3, 2010. Glen was born on October 7, 1943 in Roaring Branch, PA, the son of Richard and D. Jane (Roby) Thomas. He was employed by Ralphs Service Center for 27 years. Glen is survived by his wife of 39 years, Sharon (Christian) Thomas; his faithful companion, Charlie, his mother, D. Jane Wilston of Canton, PA; six sisters and brothers-in-law, Carol (Larry) Jackson, Joy (William) Rogers, Susan (Bill) Powers, Sheryl (Mike) Sommers, Debbie (Mark) Dalton, Debi (Steve) Innes; one brother and sister-in-law, James A. (JoAnn) Spencer; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Helen and Jay Christian, a sister-in-law, Paula (Tom) Warriner; a brother-in-law, Bill (Vickie) Christian; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins. Also survived by special friends, Ronnie and Judy Dowling and Wayne Hocker. Glen was predeceased by his father, Richard W. Thomas and his step-mother, Allie Frances Calkins. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 12, 2010 at 2 PM at the Arnot Recreation Center, Main St. Arnot, PA.
