Obituary of Eva L. Hollopeter

Eva L. Hollopeter, age 88, of Liberty, PA, died Friday, October 1, 2010 at Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital, Wellsboro, PA. Eva was born August 4, 1922 in Indiana, a daughter of Earl and Elsie (Dennis) Newkirk. She was the wife of the late Elwood Hollopeter. Eva enjoyed writing letters and sewing. She was a U.S. Navy veteran having served during WWII. Eva is survived by a daughter, Debbie Hollopeter of Liberty, PA; three sons, Andrew and Daniel of Liberty, PA, Edward of State College, PA. She was predeceased by her husband, Elwood, and a brother, Edward Newkirk. Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, October 5, 2010 from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. at the East Point United Methodist Church, Liberty Twp., East Point, PA. Funeral services will be held immediately following the visitation at 11 A.M. at the church with Pastor Thomas Harmic officiating. Burial will be in East Point Cemetery. The Jacquelyn A.
