Obituary of Michael F. Lewis

Michael F. Lewis, age 29, of Lawrenceville, PA died Thursday, December 30, 2010 in Bradford County, PA as a result of an auto accident. Michael was born September 14, 1981 in Baltimore, MD, a son of Oliver Franklin and Cynthia (Snouffer) Lewis of Elkridge, MD. Michael was the husband of Diana (Beach) Lewis. He was employed as a laborer with R and T Mechanical in Lawrenceville, PA and was a Marine Corps veteran. Michael attended St. Thomas Catholic Church in Elkland and enjoyed fishing with his children, playing baseball, hunting, mushball, bonfires, and spending time with his family. Michael is survived by his wife, Diana; a son, Michael F. Lewis, Jr., and a daughter, Lena Mae Lewis, both at home; his parents Oliver Franklin and Cynthia Lewis of Elkridge, MD; sister and brother-in-law, Jacklyn and Matt Rock of MD; maternal grandmother, Joan GG Snouffer of Catonville, MD; father and mother-in-law, Walter and Janet Beach of Lawrenceville, PA; sister-in-law, Jackie (Toby) Baker of Lawrenceville, PA; brother-in-law, Timothy (Echo Scherer) Beach of Corning, NY; aunt, Beth Snouffer; uncle, Joey Snouffer; cousins, Jake and Rosa; several nieces, nephews and an endless amount of friends. Michael was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Joseph Snouffer; paternal grandparents, Oliver Sr. and Naomi Lewis; aunt, Marlene Freed. Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, January 4, 2011 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM PM at the Jacquelyn A. Buckheit Funeral Chapel, Crematory & Monuments, PC, 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at 11 AM at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 111 First Street, Elkland, PA with Father John Kita officiating. Memorial contributions may be made in Michaels name to the Educational Fund for Michael and Lena Lewis, Northwest Savings Bank, Lawrenceville, PA 16929.
