Obituary of Daniel L. Boop

Daniel L. Boop, age 58, of Mansfield, PA, died Monday, March 15, 2010 at Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, PA. Daniel was born July 8, 1951 in Renova, PA, a son of Edwin Eugene Boop, Sr. and Edna (Wagner) Boop. He was the husband of Sharen (Allen) Boop. Daniel was a self-employed dump truck driver who enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and visiting with family and friends. Daniel is survived by his wife, Sharen; three sons and daughters-in-law, Daniel Lawrence Boop, Jr. of Mainesburg, PA, Donald Eugene (Gail) Boop of Mainesburg, PA, David Allen (Joan) Boop of Mansfield, PA; two step-sons, Mike (Amy) Cowan of Virginia, Kenny Cowan of Covington, PA; seven grandchildren, Justin and Dominic Boop, Timothy (Janene) Gulliver, Mathew (Jenn) Gulliver, Samuel, Shelley and Ann Gulliver; seven great grandchildren, Kaylee, Kadin, Kaelynne, Wyatt Gulliver, Conner Gulliver-Broughton, Garrett and Aleksys Cowan; a sister and brother-in-law, Janice (John) Cool of Altoona, PA. Daniel was predeceased by a brother, Edwin Boop. Family and friends are invited to a celebration of Daniels life on Saturday, March 20, 2010 from 3:00 to 5:00 P.M. at the Roseville United Methodist Church, Roseville, PA. A memorial service will follow at 5:00 P.M. at the church with the Rev. Chris Schafer officiating.
