Obituary of Albert D. Sherman

Albert D. Sherman, age 87, of Mansfield, PA died on Friday, April 23, 2010 in Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital, Wellsboro, PA. Born on April 29, 1922 in Wellsboro, PA, he was a son of Ross W. and Mary (Putman) Sherman. Albert is survived by his wife, Marion G. (Simmons) Sherman. Prior to his retirement, Albert was employed for 30 years with Corning Glass Works in Corning, NY. He was a member of the Wellsboro congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. In addition to his wife, Marion, he is survived by eight children, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, one sister, one sister-in-law and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service for Albert at 3 PM on Monday, April 26, 2010 at the Wellsboro congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses, Mansfield Road, Wellsboro, PA.
