Obituary of Charles W. Starkweather

Charles Starkweather, age 69, of Wellsboro, PA died Friday, June 4, 2010 at the Williamsport Hospital. Charles was born April 21, 1941, a son of Alvin and Lacrita (Cennedy) Starkweather. He was the husband of Patricia (Palmer) Starkweather. Charles retired from Osram Sylvania in Wellsboro. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Charles enjoyed fishing, hunting, watching his grandson, go-cart racing, and beagle dogs. He was a member of the Free Methodist Church, Wellsboro, PA. Charles is survived by his wife, Patricia; three sons and daughters-in-law, Terry and Gaile Starkweather of Wellsboro; Charles and Michelle Starkweather of Denton, NC, Daniel and Karen Starkweather of Winston, Salem, NC; 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; a sister and brother-in-law, Virginia (Arthur) Williammee. He was predeceased by his parents; brothers, Duane and Keith Starkweather; a grandson, Joshua Charles Starkweather in 1989. In keeping with Charles wishes, there will be no services. The Jacquelyn A.
