Obituary of Duane Donald Hilfiger

Duane Donald Hilfiger, age 76, of Mansfield, PA, died Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at his home. Duane was born July 13, 1934 in Mansfield, PA, a son of Morgan and Hazel (Fish) Hilfiger. He was the husband of Faye (Wise) Hilfiger and was a member of the Evangelical Wesleyan Church. Duane was employed by Marshall Brothers before his retirement. Duane is survived by his wife, Faye; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Dennis Hilfiger of NJ, Dale and Barbara Hilfiger of Liberty, PA, Doug and Debra Hilfiger of Williamsport, PA; a daughter and son-in-law, Dianne and Gary Messner of Roaring Branch, PA; four step-sons, Roddy (Susan) Parthemer of Wellsboro, PA, Keith (Donna) Parthemer of Hunt, NY, Kenny (Tammy) Parthemer of Covington, PA, Randy (Naomi) Parthemer of Cocherton, PA; two step daughters, Debbie (Dave) Johnston of Mansfield, PA, Donna West; 37 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Morgan Hilfiger, Jr. of Wellsboro, PA, Norman and Sue Hilfiger of Covington, PA; a sister and brother-in-law, Lois and Fred Shappee of Pine City, NY. Duane was predeceased by a daughter, Dawn Walters on February 22, 1990, a son, David Hilfiger in September, 2001, and his first wife, Margaret (Coons) Hilfiger on July 21st, 1996. Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday, July 25, 2010 from 12 noon to 2:00 P.M. at the Jacquelyn A. Buckheit Funeral Chapel, Crematory & Monuments, PC, 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home with the Rev. Delbert Howard officiating. Burial will be in Tioga County Memorial Gardens, Mansfield, PA.
