Obituary of Arnold James VanDruff

Arnold James Van VanDruff, age 83, of Covington, PA, died on Monday, January 31, 2011 in Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, PA. Born on December 2, 1927 in Mansfield, PA, he was the son of Franklin BenjaminFrank and Rose (Jelliff) VanDruff. He was married to Jewell (Carlton) VanDruff for 45 years prior to her death in 1991. Prior to his retirement, Van was a self-employed businessman who owned a poultry and feed business for 15 years. He also owned and operated Vans Farm Market for the past 55 years with his family. Van served with the US Navy during World War II. Van is survived by five sons and a daughter-in-law, Donovan VanDruff of York, PA, Benjamin K. VanDruff of Towsand, DE, James and Patricia VanDruff of New Ringold, PA, Gary VanDruff of Clifton Heights, PA; Roger VanDruff of Wilmington, DE; 9 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, February 4, 2011 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Jacquelyn A. Buckheit Funeral Chapel, Crematory & Monuments, PC, 637 South Main Street, Mansfield, PA. A funeral service will be held at the funeral chapel immediately following calling hours at 1:00 PM.
