Obituary of Robert J. Schwarz

Robert J. Schwarz, age 92, of Wellsboro, PA, formerly of Roseville, died Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at The Laurels in Wellsboro. Robert was born May 12, 1919 in Washington State, the son of Raymond and Mary (Mrachek) Schwarz. He was married to the late Agnes (Wortman) Schwarz. Robert was an international pilot for Pan American Airlines before his retirement. He earned a BS degree from Washington State University. Robert was a member of Holy Child Catholic Church and enjoyed gardening. Robert is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Jack and Karen Schwarz of Deland, FL; a daughter and son-in-law, Maryjane and Jon Seifried of Roseville, PA; four grandchildren, Shawn, Megan and James Seifried, and Kevin Schwarz; six great grandchildren; extended family members in the state of Washington. Robert was predeceased by his wife, Agnes, eight brothers and one sister. Family and friends are invited to a Memorial Mass on Thursday, May 26, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at Holy Child Catholic Church, 245 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA with Rev. John Kita officiating.
