Obituary of Lawrence S. Burgess

Lawrence Larry Burgess Jr., age 32, of Millerton, PA, died on Sunday, May 29, 2011 in Nelson Twp. Larry was born on March 11, 1979 in Elmira, NY, a son of Lawrence Burgess Sr. and Margaret Penny (Austin) Burgess. He was a graduate of Troy Area High School. Larry was employed at the Kwik Fill in Lawrenceville, PA. He enjoyed building street rods and chopper motorcycles. Larry is survived by his father, Lawrence Burgess Sr. of Millerton, PA; his mother and step father, Margaret Penny and James Beatty of Millerton, PA; a sister, Lois Burgess of Elmira, NY; two step-brothers, Richard James Beatty of Millerton, PA, James Beatty, Jr. of Addison, NY; three step-sisters, Caryl Martone of FL, Peggy Beatty of FL, Angie Kelly of Elmira, NY; numerous nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; his girlfriend and her son, Felisha and Matthew Hayward, all of Millerton, PA. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Friday, June 3, 2011 at 5:00 PM at the Millerton United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jennifer Wolf officiating.
