Obituary of Wanda Putnam

Wanda (Farr) Putnam, age 81, of Wellsboro, PA, died on Sunday, June 5, 2011 at The Green Home, Wellsboro, PA. Born on April 4, 1930 in Nelson, PA, she was the daughter of Herbert and Elva (Bliss) Farr. Wanda was predeceased by her husband, Richmond Putnam in 1995. Wanda was a homemaker and a member of the United Methodist Church in Wellsboro, PA. Wanda is survived by four daughters and sons-in-law, Melinda and Robert Page of Canton, PA, Marlene Kay (Bob Moss) Brooks of Painted Post, NY, Terry and James M. Mike Giles of Mansfield, PA, Billie Sue and Mark Morgan of Wellsboro, PA; one stepson, Dennis Putnam of Wellsboro, PA; two sisters, Emma Mae Cummings of Painted Post, NY, and Ida Burnside of Lawrenceville, PA; eight grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Richmond, she was also predeceased by a son, Keith Putnam in 1995. Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service on Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. at the Nelson Cemetery in Nelson, PA.
