Obituary of Robert D. Summerson

Robert D. Summerson, age 78, of Mansfield, PA, died on Friday, June 17, 2011 in Broad Acres Health & Rehabilitation Center, Wellsboro, PA. Robert was born on December 15, 1932 in Mansfield, PA, the son of David and Myrtle (Thompson) Summerson. Prior to his retirement, he was self employed as a painter. Robert is survived by three sons, David and Carl Summerson of Virginia, Jay Summerson of Arnot, PA; four daughters, Nora Whight of Virginia, Essee Hebert of Virginia, Annette Smith of Georgia, Cleo King of Virginia; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Peggy and Donald Robbins of Mansfield, Violet Taylor of Corning, NY and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Robert was predeceased by 13 brothers and sisters. Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, June 25, 2011 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Jacquelyn A. Buckheit Funeral Chapel, Crematory & Monuments, PC, 637 S. Main Street, Mansfield, PA. A memorial service will be held immediately following calling hours at 2:00 PM at the funeral chapel with Rev.
