Obituary of Thomas W. Burley

Thomas W. Burley, age 80, of Mansfield, PA, died Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital, Wellsboro, PA. Thomas was born May 12, 1931 in Blossburg, PA, a son of Lawrence and Charlotte (Walker) Burley. He was the husband of Doris Sue (Wilcox) Burley. Thomas was a Director of Electronics at Mansfield University before his retirement. He was a U.S. Army Veteran having served during the Korean War. Thomas is survived by his wife, Sue; a son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Jeanne Burley of Lawrenceville, PA; a daughter and son-in-law, Charlotte and Rick Bowen of Longmout, CO; two grandchildren, Alexis Rene Bowen of Longmout, CO and Austin Taylor Burley of Raleigh, NC. Family and friends are invited to call on Monday, June 27, 2011 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Buckheit Funeral Chapel, 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA.
