Obituary of Dale A. Short

Dale A. Short, Sr., age 58, of Mansfield, PA, died on Thursday, July 21, 2011 in Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital, Wellsboro, PA. Born on November 18, 1952 in Wellsboro, PA, he was the son of Basil H. and Anna L. (Moore) Short, Sr. Dale was married to Elaine V. (Stone) Short. In addition to his wife, Elaine, Dale is survived by three sons, Dale A. Short, Jr. of Wellsboro, PA, Robert A. Murray of Mansfield, PA, Mark A. Murray of Virginia; three daughters and sons-in-law, Mary A. and Audie Holsomback of Wellsboro, PA, Rosa L. and Vernon Rouse, Jr. of Middlebury, PA, Teresa M. Day and fiance, Gerald of Mansfield, PA; two brothers, Harold and Basil, Jr.; three sisters, Sharon, Ruby, Lena; several grandchildren; one great grandchild and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at the River of Life Fellowship Church, Rt. 6, Wellsboro, PA on Saturday, July 30, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. with Rev. Keith Paris officiating.
