Obituary of Henry Culina

Henry Culina, age 86, of Elkland, PA, died Monday, September 5, 2011 at Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital, Wellsboro, PA. Henry was born July 27, 1925 in Marianna, PA, a son of John and Helen (Kasuba) Culina, Sr. Henry was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII. He was a member of the Free Methodist Church in Elkland. Henry is survived by his long-time companion, Jean Moon of Elkland, PA and her children; Howard Moon of Elkland, Debra Mitchell of Nelson, Kevin Moon of Blairsville, PA, April Lower-Knickerbocker of Elkland, Edward Moon of Elkland, Charles Moon of Addison, NY, John Moon of Willow Grove, PA; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; a brother and sister-in-law, William and Anna Culina of Connelsville, PA; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Pauline and Ben Berube of FL, Elizabeth and Joseph Micic of Herman, PA. He was predeceased by two brothers, Frank Culina in 2007, John Culina, Jr. and a sister, Hazel Rykowski. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday, September 10, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at the Elkland Free Methodist Church, 102 Coates Ave., Elkland, PA 16920, with his pastor, Marty Zbrojewski officiating. Military honors will be presented by the Tioga County Honor Guard. Memorial contributions may be made in Henrys memory to the Elkland Free Methodist Church, 102 Coates Ave., Elkland, PA 16920.
