Obituary of David Glasbrenner

David C. Glasbrenner, Sr., age 59, of Wellsboro, PA, died on Saturday, September 24, 2011 at Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital, Wellsboro, PA. David was born June 18, 1952 in Philadelphia, PA, a son of George and Ruth (Rittinger) Glasbrenner. He was the husband of Sue (Hale) Glasbrenner. David had been employed as a Fire Department Administrator and was president of the Ashland Volunteer Fire Department in Ashland, NJ prior to his retirement. David enjoyed spending time with his family and was very devoted to them. He was a member of the Ashland Presbyterian Church. David is survived by his wife, Sue; two sons, David Carl Glasbrenner, Jr. and Jacob Charles Glasbrenner, both of Wellsboro, PA, a step-son, Robert Michael Sapio, III of Wellsboro, PA; a sister-in-law, Maryann Glasbrenner of Williamstown, NJ; a niece, April (Tom) Leach of Blackwood, NJ; a nephew, Paul Glasbrenner of Williamstown, NJ; a Godfather, Joseph Miller of Huntingdon, PA. He was predeceased by his parents, and a brother, John Glasbrenner in 2010. Services will be private. The Jacquelyn A. Buckheit Funeral Chapel, Crematory & Monuments, PC, 637 S.
