Obituary of Mary Kathryn Love

Mary Kathryn Love, age 97, of Mansfield, PA, died Friday, October 28, 2011 at the Green Home, Wellsboro, PA. Mary was born May 27, 1914 in Oden, IL, a daughter of Rev. Jonathan C. Crowe and Mable (Brode) Crowe. She was married to the late Marvin D. Love who passed away in 1975. Mary worked as a secretary and bookkeeper for Putnam Oil Company, Rose Chevrolet, Mansfield High School, Mansfield University and the Mansfield Water Board before her retirement. She was a graduate of Wellsboro High School and one year of business school. Mary is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, William and Margie Love of Mansfield, PA; a daughter and son-in-law, Margaret and Peter Tyra of Virginia; 4 grandchildren, David and Denise Love, Leslie and Jason Fogelsonger; 1 great grandchild; a sister, Elizabeth Betty Campman of Salt Lake City, Utah; a sister-in-law, Betty Crowe of Newport News, VA; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Marvin, and a brother, Ira Crowe. A private family service will be held on November 11, 2011 at the Jacquelyn A. Buckheit Funeral Chapel, Crematory & Monuments, PC, 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA with Rev. Ira Hindman officiating.
